From the time I was a boy I have loved Godzilla movies, it was one of the very first things that inspired me to be an artists. There was something unique about the way Toho created set designs and miniature cities that almost made it seem like it was real.

Below is my tribute to the old Godzilla movies. Each poster was created using Photoshop and Illustrator. All of these re-imaginings are put together from old stock photos, textured backgrounds (found or created by me), typography consisting of Japanese characters and these fronts: Asfalto, F25 Executive, Boycott, and Atletico. I chose all the color schemes based on movie posters of the various decades between 1954 - 1975 and added a paper grunge effect to the surface to give posters that vintage look.
